<p><a href="http://zooomr.com/">Zooomr</a> <a href="http://blog.zooomr.com/2006/08/22/portals-have-been-up-for-2-hours-now/">released</a> a new feature called &#8220;Portals&#8221; which lets you define hotspots in your photos &#8211; kinda like <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image_maps">Image Maps</a> cross <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quicktime_vr">QuickTime VR</a>. VR stands for Virtual Reality, in case that term has long been paged out to disk (sorry, geek joke) long ago. If you think that that&#8217;s so 1990&#8242;s you&#8217;re partially right. What is so ingenious about this is that it works right out of your browser and it so smOoOth! You&#8217;ve <strong>got</strong> to see it, and you will love it, as I have.</p>
<p>We have loads of photos from the <a title="Hola Barcelona" href="http://dready.org/blog/2006/07/18/hola-barcelona/">Barcelona trip</a> that I&#8217;d like to share but I just don&#8217;t have the time to upload them so I&#8217;m just waiting for Tiff to come back to do it. But now I can&#8217;t wait and I&#8217;ve already uploaded some of those to showcase the features.</p>
